We warmly invite you to the expert seminar, taking place in Brno and Prague. Basic energy metabolism is the key apparatus that drives every cell. In this seminar, we will focus on metabolic assays for monitoring basic energy metabolites and how can these methods be applied for studying metabolic disorders such as diabetes or liver disease and also cancer and immune cells. We will also introduce the Lumit immunoassays which are a fast and sensitive alternative to classic ELISA assays and can be easily adapted for monitoring cytokine and peptide hormone release. Finally, we will show you a few complementary methods for monitoring viability and cytotoxicity that can help you maximize data output from your samples.

Schedule

10:00-10:45 Basics of Metabolic Assays and Their Applications
10:45-11:05 Coffee Break
11:05-11:50

Lumit Immunoassays and Viability/Cytotoxicity Measurement in Live Cells

Who is the seminar for?

The seminar is open to all interested participants, regardless of their background or age, and is also suitable for university students. However, due to capacity and organizational reasons, registration is required for participation. The entire seminar will be conducted in English.
